The Summer Garden Party 2008 took place on Saturday, 12th July. It was greatly attended by villagers and friends alike and this year saw a great improvement to the venue, if that were possible. Sheila and Rob had some structural work done on the barn and increased the available space inside considerably. This meant that the whole event took place under cover and thus the Social Committee did not have to worry about the weather. As it turned out it was a dry evening, if a little cold later on, and we were all snug in the barn. There was drinking, a lot of eating and even some dancing. A great night was had by all. See photographs here.

Children's Hallowe'en Party takes place on or near the 31st October each year. It is a traditional
celebration of Hallowe'en which involves games, food and fun for all who attend. See photographs 2008 here.

The Safari Supper, for those of you who are new to the village, is sometimes called a Progressive Supper. It is traditionally held in May and involves having each course; Starter, Main, Desert and Coffee in a different house and all ending up at someone's home for the port and coffee. It usually progresses until the early hours of the morning and everyone agrees it is a super evening.
